Julianne Moore
Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne is a Hollywood actress, author and bestseller novelist. Her talents have won her recognition across the world. Sagittarius Born at the state of North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She's the eldest of three siblings who were born in the home of Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper and Anne psychologist. The Moore family is English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Moore's father was a mover a lot because of his work. It was difficult for her to make and keep friendships. Moore's family moved to Germany and she attended Frankfurt American High School, where her first acting opportunities were on stage in productions. She continued her education at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with a B.F.A. thesis in Theater. Moore began her career in theater off Broadway at New York, after she completed her degree. In 1985 she appeared on the screen in The Edge of Night. In 1986 she was cast in two roles as Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes in the As the World Turns. The role provided her with the break that resulted in her success. This show lasted until 1988 and won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, her first cinematic appearance was in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The movie was later criticized as a poor low-budget film. Short Cuts (1993), 3 Women (1997), and 3 Women (1997) were all made by Robert Altman. In the latter, Moore won numerous awards as well as praise from critics. Moore received her first film role as a lead for the film Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg, who was producer of Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997, and one of that year's biggest earning films, chose Moore as a lead actress. She was a part of Magnolia (1999) that received a favourable review and earned a SAG nod for her role. In 2002, she starred alongside her co-stars in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Additional movies Moore has appeared in includes The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) etc. Non-Stop premiered in 2014. Moore has appeared on countless films and television shows. Her most recent starring role was in the film When You Finish Saving the World (2022). The actress has established herself on the screen in Hollywood and also as a children's author. She published her first book Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and it became an N.Y.T. The best-selling book was made into a film, a series, and even into a musical. In 2013, Moore published My Mother is a Stranger. Moore lives a flamboyant life as a well-known actor and a novelist. Moore married John Robin back in 1984 after which they divorced in the year 1996. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two children. Moore's world revolves around her colleagues, friends and family.
